The Hospitality Committee is the umbrella for several ministries. This group is responsible for welcoming new persons and families to our church.

Historical Committee

Historical Committee provides the church library with an updated historical document of Bethel AME Church located at Waterworks Road, the Haley Street location, and the Squirreltown Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Bethel Music Ministry

Bethel’s Music Ministry consists of five choirs (Senior Choir, Male Chorus, Gaspel Choir). The bibile teaches us to make a joyful noise unto the lord and to sing praises unto His name

The Usher Board

The Usher Boards (Senior & Junior) is a uniformed ministry that functions as silent evangelists. Our primary ministry is ensuring the safety and security of all who enter our Sanctuary.

Lay Organization

Commissioned to train, teach and empower the members for lay ministry, global leadership and service following the tenets of Jesus Christ.

Stewardess Board

The Stewardess Board assists the Pastor and Stewards with welcoming all to the Christian Faith. The Board is responsible for preparing Holy Communion, Love Feast and Baptism candidates. We are always open to new members who want to serve.
