The mission of the Department of Christian Education at Bethel AME Freehold is to develop comprehensive and unified programs that will lead to a knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, Christian Religion, and an implementation of these values in daily lives. In addition, this ministry shall work in conjunction with the Church School and Young People's Division (YPD) of the Women's Missionary Society, promoting intelligent and vital Christian living among young people and to train them in proper methods of Christian work and service.

We also aim to seek ways to help renew and reinvigorate traditional forms of Christian Education in the church as well as lift up new models. It is also through the inclusion of the other ministries, which makeup the Department of Christian Education that the mission of Bethel AME church and Christian Education is carried out.
